Review: Prince of Tennis

Prince of Tennis LogoEchizen Ryoma, aged twelve, has just moved to Japan from the USA. He has won four consecutive junior tennis tournaments, and has just enrolled in Seishun Gakuen Junior High [commonly called Seigaku].

The Prince of Tennis starts off following Echizen and his developing tennis career, as well as his relationship with his seniors and teammates on the team. The Seigaku tennis team’s determination to get to the National inter-school tournament is also central to this series. However, as more teams appear, the story sometimes deviates a little to feature some of the more prominent ‘rival’ players.

Review: One Piece

One Piece LogoHave you a thirst for gold? For comradeship, laughter and stories of old? For Zoro/Sanji?

One Piece is both an anime and manga that tells of the adventure of Monkey D Luffy, who aspires to be the pirate king. The late pirate king, Gold D Roger, hid the one treasure he valued the most, One Piece, in the most arduous of seas, the Grand Line. And thus people set forth on the adventure of a lifetime, starting the Age of Pirates.
